On Today’s Menu: Tuesday March 25, 2014

Ah. Much better. This was a non-zero day! I’m bouncing back really well from the mishaps of Sunday. . .mishaps is the wrong word. Sunday was a blast!

Highlights: Woke up nice and early. Ate breakfast. Had food prepped enough for lunch today. Had a good day at work although the phones got a little crazy at times. Skyped with dad for tax help. I TOOK CARE OF MINES! I started writing my streaming thoughts on the train. That’s an interesting and fun release of straying emotions. Knowing I was skyping my dad when I got home, I had to make myself a different dinner. I turned down the fat . . .oops. I meant fast food all along Memorial Drive. Get it girl!

Struggles: I had a funk moment today when not distracted by work. That’s when I started writing my thoughts in my notebook. It’s on and off with these moments. Something in me is telling me that overall my decision to move to Georgia was a good one. It’s not a matter of “right” or “wrong”. It’s a matter of choosing. The choices get harder every day, but you still need to make them. Thank goodness for technology that helps bear the loneliness. I can see my friends and family basically whenever I want. If it was really whenever I want it would be every hour every day.

MENU

  • BREAKFAST: 2 scrambled eggs and 3 sausage links
  • LUNCH: 2 chicken hotdogs and roasted broccoli and mushrooms
  • SNACK: Lara bar
  • DINNER: Cucumber sandwiches with tuna salad (homemade paleonnaise)
